A quote from their
submission: Quilts are far more than carefully cut pieces of fabric, meticulously placed in a pattern and
sewn together, by hand or a machine, to be used as cover. They are crafted in a manner that
adds character to the warmth they provide. They are created with a purpose and extended with
sincerity and love, to celebrate the birth of a child or a wedding, comfort the sick, shield the
needy or simply to give comfort. Most are left to be cherished long after their creator has left
this earth.
Quilts are participants in our journey; attending ballgames, fireworks and fun at the park.
