2013 Lincoln County Woodturners Exhibit & Awards
People's Choice Winners

The ACLC held its 30th Annual Robinson-Lineberger Literary Competition this Spring! The competition is open to students in public schools, private schools, and to adults. All entrants must be present or past residents of Lincoln County.
Poetry Entries: one per person, on any subject, in any style, free verse, blank verse, or rhymed should be limited to 32 lines or less.
Prose Entries: one per person, an essay or short story on any subject, limited to approximately 750 words.
The ACLC wishes to announce the People's Choice winners of its first Lincoln County Woodturners Exhibit, held April 12, 2013 to April 28, 2013 in the galleries of the Lincoln Cultural Center.
The event was sponsored in part by First Federal Savings Bank of Lincolnton and Lassiter Family Dentistry of Lincolnton, and Homesteads Grill & Taphouse. The community was invited to come vote for their favorite piece by the woodturners, enjoy light refreshments, and listen to the Old-time string music on guitar, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin performed by Old Rusty Tractor.  Read more!

Art Crawl Open Forum
The Art Crawl Committee invites you to participate in an open forum on Thursday, May 9th at 6:00 pm to discuss the Downtown Lincolnton Art Crawl 2013, based on feedback received by the Art Crawl Committee following the event.  We would like to see Downtown Lincolnton businesses, artists, musicians, and "crawlers" represented as we plan for our next event.
